in true skins style, the car accident was fucking ridiculous and way beyond over the top. i’m sorry, but there is no fucking way anyone would have walked away from that truck from the way the roof was smashed in. they just had to go over the top and make it look all hollywood-special-effects-style. 

so fed up of how skins has gone, the first gen was perfect; everything since has just got ridiculously melodramatic and lost any sense of real life that the first gen occasionally showed. first gen had amazing characters, and remotely realistic storylines. the second gen still had some pretty good characters but when it got to series 4 it started to get a little bit out of hand. then the third gen came along and just showed it’s really got shitty. the characters had potential, but they just seemed never to develop during series 5, and then there were just stupid random stories like the wedding at the end of the series. 

gah, it makes me so mad.
